Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s co-star from Twilight Kellan Lutz went to New Orleans, Louisiana  this weekend and showed his philanthropic side as he helped rebuilt the devastated houses of the Katrina-hit area. 5 years ago, New Orleans had been ravaged by the hurricane Katrina causing widespread disaster and damage.

Annalynne MCCord accompanied Kellan and the duo were lending their whole hearted support to the St. Bernard Project. MCCord has also helped spread the cause through her twitter account asking her devotees to contribute with open hearts. MCCord has been instrumental in raising funds for the project. She has even egged her twitter fans to vote for the Pepsi Refresh Celebrity Challenge which could garner $250,000 grant for building up a wellbeing centre in the Katrina-hit city. Kellan Lutz, being her boyfriend, was only too happy to partake in the charitable event.

Brad Pitt To Lend Voice For Super Bowl Narration: Brad Pitt lended is slated to lend his voice for a documentary about the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl victory last season, according to media reports on Tuesday.

Pitt will narrate a documentary titled America’s Game: 2009 New Orleans Saints, which is set to air on the NFL Network Sept. 8—the day before the Saints play their first regular season game. The America’s Game series chronicles the 44 NFL teams who have won the Super Bowl. Pitt will join a long list of notables who have narrated the America’s Game documentaries,Alec Baldwin, Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, Gene Hackman, Ed Harris, Martin Sheen, and others have also narrated for the series. Last year, Mad Men star John Hamm narrated the film, documenting the Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Brad Pitt Land in New Orleans: Brad Pitt has touched down in New Orleans to raise awareness about the stricken city five years after it was left devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The actor arrived in the Louisiana state yesterday and set about touring the Lower 9th Ward, one of the worst hit areas. Angelina Jolie also paid a short visit before leaving in a private jet last night. Pitt, 46, met with locals and looked happy and relaxed, wearing a denim T-shirt and jeans.

He also took a look around some of the new affordable, eco houses that have been built as part of his Make It Right Foundation, which he set up to help residents who lost their homes in the disaster. He founded the project in 2007 and so far 50 homes have been built with aims to build up to 150.Brad and Angelina have a home in New Orleans, which they bought in 2007, and Pitt donated $5m to the Make It Right Foundation when he started it up.

Other stars are supporting the anniversary too by raising awareness. On Tuesday, Faith Hill performed a free concert in Los Angeles to support rebuilding efforts. Actress Sandra Bullock is also expected to make a show on Sunday and join Mayor Mitch Landrieu for the ribbon cutting of a new $700,000 health clinic she helped fund. In a pre-recorded interview that aired today on NBC Nightly News, Pitt told anchor Brian Williams of his first visit to New Orleans after the 2005 natural disaster.

Brad Pitt All For Demise Punishment For Gulf Oil Spill:Brad Pitt said he would be willing to consider a ‘death penalty’ for all those responsible for the Gulf oil spill catastrophe. He made the claim in a new documentary about his project to build 150 affordable homes in a hurricane-hit area of New Orleans.

“I was never for the death penalty before - I am willing to look at it again,” The Daily Mail quoted the star as saying. Filmmakers have extended his documentary ‘If God is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise’ to include details about the Gulf oil spill.

Angelina Jolie keeps things interesting with partner Brad Pitt by arranging date nights. The couple make sure they get quality time for romance away from their six kids. ‘Once every week or two weeks we'll ask somebody to spend the night, so we can go and be alone together,' says Angelina.

‘We have date nights, absolutely, you have to if you have children! We schedule it.' Angelina, 35, and Brad, 46, prefer to stay close to home, though. ‘Sometimes we go out, but we both miss the kids so much we don't like to go far,' she tells Stylist. ‘We just go to another part of the house and lock the door.'

Sexily divided between the top 50 men and the top 50 women, the poll drew votes for both old (65-year-old Helen Mirren and 68-year-old Harrison Ford) and young (20-year-old Emma Watson and 23-year-old Zac Efron). Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and family were in the East Bay this week, while Pitt films the Billy Beane/Oakland A's flick "Moneyball." Jolie and the kids were spotted in Rockridge on Tuesday and later in the day joined Pitt at the Oakland Coliseum. We at the Daily Dish are curious if anyone spied them while they're in town.  Actor Brad Pitt’s kids reportedly want him to grow his beard back. The 46-year-old star shaved his thick beard last month and is now sporting a small amount of stubble. Women around the world might be pleased he went for the chop but it seems his kids aren’t so impressed.

According to UK newspaper Daily Express, a source said: “Ange likes the clean look but the kids hate it. They all used to like petting it and tugging on it. Maddox particularly is insisting Brad grows it back.” It is thought Pitt shaved his beard for his role in new movie ‘Moneyball,’ which he recently started shooting.
